Alpha Tree

I have saved this half-used page of Scenic Route alphabet stickers for a lot of years, and this week's SCS Inspiration Challenge finally helped me figure out exactly how to use them. 

My card was inspired by this fabulous Alpha Tree Hand-Painted Canvas from PoshTots. I loved the contrast of the soft blue background with all of the different colored letters.

I started by punching 7/8" and 1" circles from the square alphabet stickers.  Then I punched leaves from the spaces on the numbers stickers.  I stamped my DeNami tree in dark brown ink and started attaching circles from the base moving upward.  I sponged a little light blue ink around the edges to add some depth.

I finished with a Hero Arts Bird stamped on the base (for the legs) and again on coordinating cardstock.  The final touch was a gem embellishment.  I decided to omit the sentiment, so I could use it for any occasion to send to one of my nieces or nephews.
