Creating Euphoria

The May 5th Caardvarks challenge is all about featuring quotes or verses.  All you have to do is create a ***NEW*** card incorporating a verse or quote and link us to it using Mr. Linky by Midnight on May 17th, PST

Unity Stamp Company provided the 'Vaarks Crew with some of their fabulous quote stamps.  The winner of the challenge will also be taking home this fabulous stash of Unity Stamp goodness. 

The stamp I used for my design is called Create Yourself.  I love that the Unity stamps are pre-cut red rubber with the foam cling adhesive already attached (there's not much I hate more than having to cut and mount stamps).

Since the stamp pretty much speaks for itself, I decided to pair it with the bright and fun Euphoria papers from Basic Grey.  This collection combines my favorite colors.  I also added some tiny rhinestones to the flower centers and finished with some very cool two-sided ribbon (stripes on one side ~ polka dots on the other) from Hobby Lobby.

I've had several e-mails asking about the stand I use in some of my pictures.  It is a vintage metal flower frog that my dad found for me at an antique store.  It's especially handy for oddly shaped cards or those with designs that extend beyond the card base.
