Robots and a Winner

Yesterday we woke up with no Internet service.  After a while on the phone with customer service, it was deduced that our modem had died.  Thankfully, the office was open on Saturday and we were able to get back up and running by the end of the morning.

Whenever my computer is down, it reminds me of how intertwined my creative process is with Internet access.  I decided to try a sketch from the latest issue of Take Ten magazine.  I like the card, but after I finished it, I decided it was a bit busy to submit for publication.

The Bam Pop! Parachuting Bambot was stamped in charcoal and clear embossed on Basic Grey yellow DP that coordinated with the All About A Boy papers from DCWV.  The Bambot was colored with Red Sakura Glaze Pen, Silver Sakura Sparkle Pen, and Celery Shimmerz Glitter paint.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts Anytime Messages.  I finished with a silver pronged accent.

I also drew a winner for my fantasy stamp giveaway … Lindsay Weirich of The Frugal Crafter.  Thanks for joining the Caardvarks fun.  There's another fantastic challenge that will start on the 20th, so make sure you check it out.
