This week's SCS Featured Stamper is the uber-talented Beate Johns whose blog Fresh & Fun is almost at 2,800,000 hits. Her SCS gallery began in 2003, so it was fun to see card-by-card how her stamping style has evolved.
My first card was inspired by one of those early 2003 uploads ~ Crayon Resist Christmas. It's never too early to get a jump start on those holiday cards.I used the retired Stampin' Up Holiday Print background and a couple of Michael's $1 stamps for my design.
My second card was inspired by her Soft Sky Thoughts card. I used an SCS Color Challenge for my palette (Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Garden Green). All of the stamps are from Hero Arts ~ Thoughtful Messages, DesignBlock Wavy Leaf Pattern, and Silhouette Corner.
I finished with lots of piercing, a Martha Stewart punched butterfly, and Hero Arts Smooth Clear Gemstones. I think this will be perfect for one of my mother's day cards … I like to send cards to all of the great mothers in my life.

Wow…gorgeous cards Stef…hey congrats on the fab 5!!!
two additional things i love about MISS STEF:
*she uses those mike $tamps better than anyone else EVER!
*she thinks up stuff like PIERCING instead of a regular outline or faux stitching!!!
*she can do EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGE excellently, every week!!!
(ok, that mighta been 3 things…technically…hey those wall street dudes aren’t the only one good at CREATIVE ACCOUNTING ok?!)
