Did You Ever Know That You’re My Hero (Arts)?

There is one super-fabulous Hero Arts sponsored challenge going on at the Caardvarks blog.  Our very own (and very talented) 'Vaarks crew member Heidi Van Laar has designed a wonderful sketch to challenge us.  All you have to do is link up your sketch card to Mr. Linky by midnight on April 3rd for a chance to win some great Hero Arts stamps.

The very generous folks at Hero Arts shared some fabulous stamps for the 'Vaarks team to use in their designs – Asian Frames, All Occasion Messages, Heart Winged Butterfly, and Smooth Clear Gemstones.  You can check out the entire Design Team gallery using these and other new stamps from the Hero Arts 2009 catalog.

Here's my card using Heidi's great sketch.

The images from Hero Arts Asian Frames were stamped in Gray on Sweetbay Memory Box papers. The blooms are higlighted with Hero Arts Smooth Clear Gemstones and the leaves are colored with Sakura Sparkle pen. The bamboo from the Asian Frames was stamped multiple times on the bottom corner.

I finished with a sentiment from All Occasion Messages and grey taffeta ribbon.
