Today my January kit from Studio Calico arrived … I loved their fun, original papers (and fabulously quick shipping). I needed a masculine birthday card, so I decided to combine their papers with Kazan's Sketch #17 from 2 Sketches 4 You (turned on its side to feature the cool map) and the Hero Arts challenge to incorporate layers into your design (this card actually has a total of 7 layers).
The main panel is Studio Calico's {We'll Always Have Paris}. There are two layers along the top from the Studio Calico {Bogie} paper with the bottom row punched with the Stampin' Up Scallop Border. I stamped the Hero Arts Wavy Graphic Borders along the top if ColorBox Chalk Warm Red and added a tiny A Wish For You in the middle from Hero Arts Messages.
The sentiment is Hero Arts Fabulous Birthday stampedin Versamark and black embossed on a piece of white Basic Grey Urban Prairie DP (love those oh-so-slightly distressed pieces of white paper). I finished with ticket punched corners and red gemstones.

I really {heart} this…absolutely FABulous!
What a gorgeous card Stef, those papers are awesome! Fabulous take on Kazan’s sketch!!
This card is gorgeous Stef. I was lucky enough to visit Paris and this card totally captures the mood and energy of that amazing City. Thanks for playing
