Today's SCS Featured Stamper is AnnasCreations. My first card is inspired by her beautiful Grateful Silhouettes. I loved the silhouette blooms stamped in two colors and the tag sentiment (which I realized after completing the design is an SCS Sketch).
I started with the Soft Sky, Very Vanilla and Really Rust scraps that were on my work table. I used the color combination generator, which told me Old Olive would be a good fourth color for the design. The CHF Scratched Grid Backgrounder is stamped in ColorBox Olive Pastel ink on the Soft Sky card base. The Silhouette Blooms from Tim Holtz' Nature's Moments set was stamped in Ice Blue, Olive Pastel and Burnt Sienna. To finish, the Savvy Stamps thanks was stamped in Burnt Sienna.
Since I once again managed to use a Sketch Card (a no-no for the Featured Stamper Challenge), I did a second card inspired by annascreation's Bayou Leaf. Since this card is also an SCS Sketch, I changed up the layout by omitting the ribbons and moving the sentiment. I loved the way she stamped text and then embossed with flowers. I also liked the way she did a popped-out frame on her leaves with faux stitching.
SU's French Script background was stamped in Staz-on Dove Grey and then reverse embossed (turning the folder over so that the flowers go down instead of up) with the Stylized Flower embossing folder. The Hero Arts Artistic Daisy was stamped in Prussian blue and clear embossed. I then hand-cut the frame to pop out the leaves and some of the flower petals. The sentiment is from SU's Small Sayings. I finished Sakura Sparkle Pen for faux stitching and the flower center.
Thanks for the inspiration.

They are both so wonderful and unique too! I like the contrasting colors in the first and the single elegant flower on your second with the embossed BG.
