I love having new art in my home. It makes me smile for days. Lately I’ve been really attracted to smaller pieces that I can hang in small spaces on my walls.
This amazing little hand-cut dimensional tree from A Little Hut is now on my wall right next to my computer. I love how she is able to produce such intricate works of art that still feel clean and classic.
This beautiful enameled copper light switch cover is now in my bedroom. I love the beautiful combination of plum and copper with some tiny green specks. I also love the slight texture of the piece (I am a very tactile person and love art I can touch). This piece is by Tara Mackintosh and Cameron Tucker from Outside the Lines Gallery in Dubuque, Iowa. I think I’m going to have to get some more of these for other corners of my home.
At the same gallery, I also found this raku star by Jack Kromer to go with his Sage Comet that already hangs on my pine walls.
I also found some fun artsy shoes (for $6, which somehow makes them even more fun). My husband has told me that I dress like my cards, and I think these shoes will more than likely inspire a card creation or two.

where’d you find those $6 shoes?? how big do they go?
plase email me?? karlalala@yahoo.com
thanks a bunch!!
