Stacked Ribbon & CASE’d Creation

Tlc163wm

Allison’s Suggestive Sunday challenge was to find inspiration in (CASE) a card of another stamper (who has not been a featured stamper on SCS).  I chose this wonderful Be Happy Paint Chip card by Becca at Amazing Paper Grace (Becca Stamps at SCS).  I have quite a few paint chips left over from my holiday trees, so I loved being able to use another one.  I was also able to incorporate the Stacked Ribbon Technique for today’s SCS Try a New Technique Challenge.

I used Stampin’ Up rub-ons and a punched butterfly from the strip of paint chip that I cut off to complete my design.  The finished card is 3 3/4" x 6 1/4".  Thanks Becca for the inspiration.

  1. Well great, now I am going to have to do a CASE of a CASE! Ha ha! I have a whole bunch of these (since I snagged some last time I was at the Home Depot [I was bored and DH was looking at tools]). What a super idea! Thanks for your repeated plays!

  2. Beautiful!
I will have to try this. I picked up a few the other day and I stamped images, but the paper didn’t like it. Ink rubbed off on my fingers next morning. Rubons… where are you?
