Kristina Werner posted a color inspiration challenge inspired by a room from Marie Clair Maison. Since they are some of my favorite colors too, I had to give it a try.
I also wanted to try a sketch posted by Heidi at My Scrap Space. She’s giving away a fun card kit at the end of the month to a lucky participant.
I loved the tone-on-tone look of the border between the pink and orange, so that is what inspired my card.
I stamped the Inkadinkado floral flourishes in Peony chalk ink on Pomegranate card stock (why don’t they put names on their stamps?). A flower from Scrappy Cats Sunny Days was stamped in tangerine on orange. The sentiment from See d’s Quotopia is stamped in dark brown on pink. I added some chocolate polka dot ribbon & a couple of word window punches with a touch of bling to finish the 5 1/2" square card.
Thanks ladies for the inspiration.

THIS is an absolutely fabulouse card! The sentiment really goes well with the colors. Love it!
Thanks for the comment!
I love your card — I really like the way you used the background stamps. I don’t have any stamps that I can use as backgrounds, but I am going to have to get some!!
Love this!! Great job with Kristina’s challenge!
Beautiful card!!! LOve the fuscia/orange combo and then a splash of brown. Thanks for doing my challenge!
