Today’s SCS Try a New Technique challenge was faux cloisonne. This was one of the first new techniques I tried after discovering the on-line stamping community in November 2006. It was fun to revisit it today.
Here are a couple of cards from the archives using this technique They feature a Paula Best stamp embossed in gold on pages from the Lands End Catalog (a perfect technique for November when your mailbox is stuffed full of holiday catalogs).
Today I tried the technique using silver embossing powder, a Magenta stamp and a magazine picture of Rachel Ray’s kitchen. I liked the variation of colors in the image & the abstract look this stamp produces.

These are all fantastic. I love how you did this challenge!!!
