Tromping through the piles and piles of snow for weeks on end has my mind longing for spring. I truly enjoy living where I get to experience the uniqueness of all four seasons, but this winter is seeming a bit too long even for me.
So, I thought it might help to break out a couple of spring-themed cards from my archives.
These little chicks are made using a 1" circle punch with a small star punch for the feet and a free-handed triangle for the beak. The grass under their feet is by A Muse and the sentiment is a Michael’s $1 stamp.
Here’s that same little chick featured in a one of Cami’s tri-fold cards using a sentiment from Stampin’ Up’s So Very Sweet set.

Winter IS too long! What a great way to forget about winter for a bit. Love the cards 🙂

Those little punchy chicks are adorable! So fresh and pretty. What a nice reminder that spring is on the way.
