Did you ever feel like your brain was bursting with ideas, but bedtime is fast approaching? Tonight is one of those nights.
I wanted to do Allison’s Suggestive Sunday Challenge to use my dollar stamps as the main image. I also knew I wanted to use the Card Positioning Systems Sketch 51. The first thing I thought of when I saw this sketch was a pocket card.
I broke out new collection of Heidi Grace Oh So Moody paper. The base is cut from the embossed flowers paper with a clear pocket from a Hambly On-Edge Screen Print Silver Transparency. I sewed it to the card base using orange thread with a back-stitch at the top of each side of the pocket for a little extra sturdiness.
The "Life Friend" stamp and the two floral swirls underneath my prima flowers are clear Studio G dollar stamps (all stamped in Black Staz-on, which works well on the transparency). The card insert made from Oh So Moody dots paper was edged using scalloped scissors with a Glitter Rub-on from American Traditional Designs in a 1" circle attached to the top. The scallops mimic the scallops around the squares in the base DP. Be With Those sentiment is by Prickley Pear.
It’s a good reminder to me to make it a priority to "be with those who help your (my) being."
