So Many Ideas … So Little Time

Did you ever feel like your brain was bursting with ideas, but bedtime is fast approaching?  Tonight is one of those nights.

Feb10I wanted to do Allison’s Suggestive Sunday Challenge to use my dollar stamps as the main image.  I also knew I wanted to use the Card Positioning Systems Sketch 51. The first thing I thought of when I saw this sketch was a pocket card.

I broke out new collection of Heidi Grace Oh So Moody paper.  The base is cut from the embossed flowers paper with a clear pocket from a Hambly On-Edge Screen Print Silver Transparency.  I sewed it to the card base using orange thread with a back-stitch at the top of each side of the pocket for a little extra sturdiness.

Cps51wm2The "Life Friend" stamp and the two floral swirls underneath my prima flowers are clear Studio G dollar stamps (all stamped in Black Staz-on, which works well on the transparency).  The card insert made from Oh So Moody dots paper was edged using scalloped scissors with a Glitter Rub-on from American Traditional Designs in a 1" circle attached to the top.   The scallops mimic the scallops around the squares in the base DP.  Be With Those sentiment is by Prickley Pear.

It’s a good reminder to me to make it a priority to "be with those who help your (my) being."
