Tonight I finished another holiday card for 2008. I love working on my Christmas cards throughout the year because it just seems wrong to use all of my great holiday stamps during only one month. With all of the snow we’ve had recently, it hasn’t been that difficult to get into the Christmas frame of mind.
My inspiration was from a color challenge card by this week’s Featured Stamper Sarah Green of My Scrapbook Table. I loved the layout, especially since I have quite a few long sentiment stamps. The DP is all from a large pad of paper by Scrapworks called Formal Affair. I added brown cardstock, some brown polka dot and gold ribbon, and this great sentiment called Christmas Peace by Paper Inspirations to finish the design. I love the non-traditional look of this holiday card, and I think I’ll be using this layout again in the future. A great way to create a DP background from scraps.
This is gorgeous!
chocolate, tan and white xmas cards…???!
…TOTALLY the wave of the future!!!
gorgeous color combo, beautiful sketch, pristine execution. (so basically, it’s just another ordinary smilyn’ stef *MASTERPIECE* then!!!)
