Inspired Living Room & Heart Bordered Circle Tutorial

Ic113_zarahomeline3_scsitsapassion It’s Saturday and that means an Inspiration Challenge at SCS.  Today it was a living-room featured on this beautiful blog Design & Inredningsbloggen.

Sometimes I look at the inspiration and know exactly what I want to do.  On other days like today, it takes a while for an idea to percolate in my brain.

I kept looking at the design on the circular rug and wondering how I could do something like that on a card.  I cut out a circle and started going through my punches to see if I could create a similar design.

IHeart2 settled on this Corner Adorner Punch Graceful Heart.  I removed the plastic corner guide, so I could move the heart around my circle.  I used my Creative Memories Circle cutter and lucked out on the first try by choosing the right size (4 1/2").  I punched upside down so I could visually line up the hearts side-by-side as I moved around the circle.

The Judikins stuffed chair is stamped in Ranger Adirondack Currant ink on a light yellow cardstock together with a sentiment from A Muse.

Thanks for the inspiration.

  1. This is beautiful! I think I probably need that punch now. You’ve also reminded me of a chair stamp I have tucked away somewhere, which needs to be found and used.
And, thanks for visiting my blog!
