Chocolate Shoe Inspired

TJamieshoes his weekend at Splitcoast Stampers is a Virtual Stamping weekend where challenges are posted every hour, so that people from around the globe can stamp together (each challenge is supposed to be completed in under one hour).  The theme this month is Girls’ Night Out.  The inspiration was this picture of chocolate shoes.

Paperworld2wm I also used Sketch #2 from My Paper World.  The vertical lines in the design reminded me of paint chips I had stashed away, so I found one in shades of pink that coordinated with the shoes.

For added texture, I stamped Cornish Heritage Farms Scratched Grid backgrounder in Versamark and embossed with Ranger Silver Embossing Pearl powder for a subtle shimmer effect.  I stamped the Studio G heart stamp (there are four hearts, so I first centered the stamp and then stamped the extra hearts on each end) and heat set it (it’s hard to get ink to dry on the glossy paint chips).

I added a tiny touch of Petal Pink Liquid pearls to the heart under the sentiment to complete a fun valentine that will work for almost anyone.
