I am absolutely loving all of your birthday gift comments. Keep them coming & I’ll draw for the birthday I-squared Inspiration on Sunday night. One of my favorite comments was from my Gran who reminded me of the curl she always made on the top of my head with dippity-doo. I found a shot of me and Gran with my beautiful hair-do.
My dad came to visit for my birthday weekend. We’ve been having fun fishing in a friend’s pond, reminiscing as we walked through a classic car showroom, and doing some home repairs. Tomorrow we’re planning to make a cool new wall hanging to hold a lot of my punches.
Since I was busy with family today, I did not get to play in my studio. However, here’s a recent creation I made using a Joy of Cardmaking submission sketch. The dimensions are 3 1/2" x 6". The design combines Basic Grey Mellow Papers, a sentiment by Li’l Davis Designs and a Hambly On Edge brown printed overlay. I love the fun fall feel of these papers. The inks are ColorBox Chalk in Dark Brown and Dark Moss, and I used my tonic distressor to rough up the edges.
