So Very Thankful

The new Challenge at Shopping Our Stash is So Very Thankful – shop your stash and create something related to Thanksgiving, being grateful, or include a thank you somewhere on your project.

I have clicked “Buy It All” far too many times for Kristina Werner’s releases, so I figured this challenge was a good opportunity to Shop that bugeoning Stash and actually use some of them.

I started with Kristina Werner Plaid Perfection Stencil Pack and Distress Ink Colors inspired by my felt dimensional turkey sticker (Fosalized Amber, Carved Pumpkin & Gathered Twigs) on white cardstock. When I finished, the white looked a bit too stark, so I went over the entire plaid with a light hand of Dried Merigold ink. I’m also linking-up my card at the Little Red Wagon Stencil Challenge.

I trimmed down the plaid and attached it to an orange card base. I paired it with the Thank You sentiment from Kristina Werner Retro Flowers Dies, which is perfect for the Cut It Up Thankful, Grateful, Blessed Challenge.

With the colors and food element on my card, I took my inspiration from If You Give a Crafter a Cookie Challenge (aren’t those cookies amazing).

And Plaid is the Theme at The Paper Players Challenge.
