The More the Merrier!

The Jingle Belles prompt of While Shepherds Watched their Flocks continues this week … asking you to create a holiday card featuring an animal (or faux-animal like a Yeti or Monster).

A friend found the adorable Snoopy holiday stamp set included with the most recent issue of Creative Stamping Magazine … and she picked-up an extra copy for me. So needless to day, I knew which animal this week’s card needed to include. Snoopy was the name of the black and white beagle that was our childhood pet. She used to run along beside me on my bicycle rides. So needless to say, I’ve always had a Snoopy soft spot.

I stamped the image on white cardstock and colored it with my Ohuhu Markers. I used Catherine Pooler Pebble Ink combined with some white pigment ink for my snowflake spatters. I went back in with a silver sharpie to fille out the space a bit more and add some dimension.

I finished with a sentiment from the same stamp set and used foam tape to mat it on a red card base. This card makes me happy.
