The newest challenge at Seize the Birthday is Geometric plus a Word Die. Since I needed several masculine birthday cards, this seemed perfect.
In looking at the Design Team cards, I loved the idea of geometric embossing on the background with a word die sentiment. I pulled out a couple of Shaving Cream Marbled backgrounds I made and shopped my Embossing Folder stash.
For the first one, I used a very old Cuttlebug Embossing folder that features diamonds and/or squares and I paired it with this Concord & 9th Perfect Pairs Birthday die cut that has been sitting on my studio table for months
The next one is the same recipe with a different vintage Happy Birthday Die Cut.
The name of the embossing folder is Geometric by We R Memory Keepers … it’s a diamond shape with a line through the middle, so it could also be triangles depending on how you see it.
