#ABCPrintingChallenge with GelliArts

September is time for the #ABCPrintingChallenge with Gelli Arts.

I had to dust off my Art Journals since I really had not created in them since I was stuck at home during the worse of the COVID pandemic (and I was most grateful for that creative outlet).

I cut and tore three different gelliarts prints to create my art journal page … it was very meditative. I enjoyed the process.

For B is for Bontanicals, I had fun picking lots of leaves and grasses after I finished my morning run, and I tried the faux cyanotype technique from @mynaturalelement … it was so fun, I just couldn’t stop.

This one is in the more traditional blues.

C is for College. Again, I cut and tore four differnet gelliarts prints to create this 4″x4″ collage.

D is for Depth … I tried to create depth using multiple printings and a slight offset with the Carolyn Dube Words to Live by from Stencil Girl.

E is for Ephemera was the next prompt. I chose to print directly on some manilla tags I had in my stash to have some masculine ephemera for future cards.

F is for Fabric … I had several denim scraps on the top of the GelliArts printing pile (man does that pile need a storage solution and some organization … any tips appreciated, so that is what I used. The effect wasn’t as strong as I’d hoped, but the learning is part of the joy of this experience, so I’m embracing it.

G is for Garden Ghost Print. This is a ghost print from a relatively unsuccessfuly attempt to print with some grasses. The ghost turned out way better (which can often be the truth).

This morning, I decided to turn one of my other leafy botanical prints into a card for the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers L is for Leaves Challenge.

I added 3-D Bella-Pops Reptile Friends Stickers and a snarky sticker sentiment.
