The newest Challenge at Shopping Our Stash is a Sketch Challenge.
I started with a doily for the circular image and some vintage Big Corn Trading Stamps for the vertical element. I thought the corn stalks sort of looked like Christmas Trees, so I went with a holiday theme.
I used a combination of holiday papers, a Tim Holtz flash card sentiment, a postage stamp ephemera, and a gold glittery poinsettia to finish the design … all pretty old stuff from my stash, so it felt good to find them homes.
