We did so many fun projects at Alabama Art Camp this year (Bev is seriously the best at finding artsy things to try).
The first technique we tried was Faux Cyanotype inspired by @paintbyles.
We started by water coloring our backgrounds. Once they dried, we used a stencil and oh-so-slightly damp sponge to pick-up the paint through the stencil.

It was pretty addictive, so I made quite a few.

And today I was grateful to have them when I needed a masculine sympathy card. I die cut the panel using a Crimped Frame Die from The Greetery.

I finished with a Hero Arts Woodblock With Deepest Sympathy stamp.
I’m linking-up at the Simon Says Monday Challenge: Add Some Text and the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Make Your Own Background.
