Leftover Snowflake

The word prompt at Inkspirational Challenges is Leftovers.

I went through my leftovers bin searching for inspiration and chose this Stampin’ Up Snowflake from 2005 stamped on a piece of Basic Grey designer paper. I’m guessing it’s been in my leftovers bin for almost 20 years (soon after I bought the stamp, which I no longer have), so I guess it’s finally time to give it a home.

The colors were a bit unusual, so I’m guessing that’s why it’s stayed in the bin for so long. The shimmery kraft cardstock and the strip of red designer paper were on my studio table leftover from other cards, so I pulled them into the design.

I finished by finding a piece of striped Christmas paper in my stash to pull it all together.

With my snowflake, I’m also linking-up at the Christmas Kickstart Snow Day Challenge.
