Mother’s Day Bouquets

It’s Mother’s Day … a hard day for so many. I make sure I take time to send Mother’s Day cards to women who might not get one, but most certainly deserve one.

I loved how this lovely A Year in Bloom Bouquet and layering stencils from Taylored Expressions turned out. I paired them with some designer paper and a Mombelievable Sentiment from CZ Design Sassy Mama.

I’m linking-up at the Stencils and/or Dies Challenge at Just Add Ink.

For this card, I kept the same colors of ink, but used them on different flowers/layers.

I think it looks a lot different paired with a darker designer paper that coordinates with the largest bloom. I used a smaller sentiment from the same CZ Design set.

Since I’ve never used these stamps, I’m linking-up at the Never-Before-Used-Schtuff (NBUS) Challenge.

I swapped-up colors again and ended-up with a bit more intense color combination with just pops of yellow.

Happy Mother’s Day or in my case Not-the-Mama Day.

  1. You are so thoughtful, Stef! I love your coloring of the bouquets and how you showed what a difference color and background can make to the same bouquet! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Happy Not-The-Mama Day! Hugs, Darnell
