Striped Florals

The May Pinkfresh Studio Challenge is Striking Stripes.

My original thought was to find designer papers in the colors of the inspiration photo and cut some strips to turn into stripes. However, the first light blue paper I found was a striped paper, so I decided to see how many striped papers I could find in my Pinkfresh Studio 6″ paper pads, and see what I could do with those.

I ended-up narrowing it down to four striped papers in two colors. I cut them into 1 1/4″ strips to cover my card front. Then I found Pinkfresh Studio Floral Ephemera to coordinate with the paper, including a striped flower in the center.

I finished by adding a pearl to the center of the flower, as well as two more puffy stickers.

I love how it turned out.
