I looked thorugh my STAMPlorations stash and decided to make a coffee-themed card.
I found various coffee-themed products in my stash, but I didn’t have a card front that coordinated, so I pulled out some ink and stamps, and altered one of the STAMPlorations Quick Cards #12 – Mixed Media A2 Card Fronts to make it work.
Here are the products I started with … as you can see, while that bright background might have worked with the STAMPlorations Coffee Tiles Ephemera, it was really the wrong shades for the coffee brown elements.
So, I pulled out Taylored Expressions Chocolate Truffle ink, and ink blended it over the entire background. Next, I stamped several of the images from STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements to fill in some of the bright space and tie it all together.
I added gold and brown cardstock mats to help pull the various colors together with STAMPlorations Coffee Backgrounds ATC and the cup of coffee ephemera.
The finishing touch for the card was the perfect sentiment from STAMPlorations Bunnies ‘N Beans from dear friend Becca’s Big Grins line.
