Snoopy & Friends

I’ve been a Snoopy fan since early childhood when we got a Black and White Beagle puppy and named him Snoopy. He was my faithful friend on all of my bicycle rides … and we had to rescue him from the Dog Pound more than once after he headed out hunting rabbits and got caught.

So when I saw these fun Snoopy products at CraftWorld, I had to bring them home.

I started with this super-fun retro Snoopy Van Road Trip, which is perfect for the It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me Retro Challenge at little red wagon.

It took me a bit to figure out the dies, since all of the outlines are actually made from two dies that you have to place one inside the other, but I got it done. I used the inside of a Vick’s Kleenex Box for the silver, and it worked perfectly.

I chose Mint Green since that was one of the colors of those vintage VW Vans, and with that I’m linking-up at the Forever Green theme at the Cut It Up Challenge.

For some reason, my Woodstock stamp was bigger than it showed in the sample, but I made him work. It reminded me of riding in the back of the station wagon when we were kids in the rear facing seat (which always made me so car sick).

I used grey cardstock to create a little road and decided the sky would be Woodstock Yellow.

And it’s No Squares at A Place to Start Challenge.
