Birthday Collage

This is a fun birthday collage card for my brother (who is an amazing large scale collage artist) that I made with all sorts of bits and bobs from my stash. I pulled out my glue stick and did a glue-as-you-go method without much preplanning.

I started with the Tim Holtz Flash Cards and built it out from there. I sort of went with a color palette of yellow, green and red on an ivory card base.

Next came the little car, the four leaf clover and the floral elements. Then I found a home for that fun detail cut bird that’s been in my stash for a long time. Of course, some S&H Green Stamps had to make an appearance.

I added some washi tape circles. Next, I found Woodstock holding a shamrock that pulled a bit more green into the design and tied to my clover. The butterfly ephemera pulled in a bit more yellow. Then I added the words. The finishing touches were the texty stickers.
