Mixed Media Spring Blooms

Today I’m sharing a card set I made as a gift.

I am Guest Designing for STAMPlorations featuring their Mixed Media Spring ATCs and Newsprint Blooms – Ephemera Tiles … both which are available through their Paper Subscriptions.

I started by pairing blooms with ATCs. Next I went shopping in my gel printed backgrounds for my coordinating card bases.

For the first one, I paired the ATC and Bloom with a sentiment from STAMPlorations Faith Expressions Stamp Set.

The second card uses one of the softer ATCs, so I detail cut one of the flowers from the STAMPlorations Newsprint Blooms – Ephemera Tiles and added a bit of Kitsch Flamingo Distress Ink to the edges.

I finished with another sentiment from STAMPlorations Faith Expressions and some grey gems.

For this one, I also detail cut a few blooms and layered them onto of this pretty little bluebird.

For this one, I used the CUTplorations Thanks Word Die and some black gems to finish the design.

And the final card in the set is back to pastels, but this time I kept the black texty background for the bloom and stamped the STAMPlorations Faith Expressions Sentiment in black on light yellow cardstock to add more pop.

I finished with some pink enamel dots to help pull out the bright pink in the ATC design.

This one took inspiration from The Card Concept with the flower and those happy colors … I just love teal, pink, orange and yellow.
