Terrazzo Donut

I love donuts … and I love the fun little Inspired By … Sweet Caterpillar image.

I pulled out my Trinity Stamps Circle-Shaped Card Die Set and made a fun little chocolate donut card.

I also have a bit of obsession with Terrazzo Flooring. I got to watch them actually make it when we built our Sheriff’s Office, and my obsession grew even more. Everywhere I travel, I always look for different Terrazzo designs (often in bathrooms) and study the different rocks and stones they chose for the color and design.

For this one, I picked a card out of my Color Cube for the Trinity Stamps Terrific Terrazzo Stencil (those 6×8″ stencils are a bit of an arm workout). I decided that rather than flooring, in this case it would be donut frosting decoration, and I love how it turned out.

I used a gold foil sticker from my stash for the birthday wishes.

And since I had never used any of these Trinity Stamp products, I’m also linking-up at the NBUS (Never-Before-Used-Schtuff) Challenge.

I’m also joining the Inkspirational Word Prompt – Use Stencils.

And since my Donut Die Cuts are front & center, I’m linking-up at the AAA Birthday Card Challenges to Use Die Cuts.
