Golden Hexagon Dahlias

The new Challenge at Shopping Our Stash is Golden Years – to create a card featuring gold.

I started by die cutting Hexagons from brushed gold cardstock inspired by the Pinkfresh Studio Geometric Genius Challenge.

Next, I die cut the Pinkfresh Studio Artistic Dahlia Washi Tape. I used the next size smaller Hexagon to die cut Dahlias to top the Hexagons.

Next I dropped gold glitter spray onto a piece of Pinkfresh Studio designer paper. After it dried, I attached the hexagons with foam tape.

I finished with a Pinkfresh Studio Foiled Die Cut Sentiment and Pinkfresh Studio Metallic Gold Pearls.

I had a few bits leftover from the Artistic Dahlia Washi Tape, so I did a bonus golden card, this time on gold glitter cardstock.

I finished with some Leaf Glitter Drops and a Pinkfresh Studio Hugs die that I believe was a gift with purchase (it was in it’s own little clear envelope in my stash).
