Happy Love Day

Since I am clearly a collector of all things Kristina Werner, I decided it was time to consciously start using them (because they are so fun and amazing.

For this card, I used four shades of pink Distress Oxide Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry) with Kristina Werner’s Jumble of Hearts Layering Stencils.

I trimmed it down to a smaller section to keep the card clean & simple for Addicted to CAS Code Word Pink. I framed it with a very thin layer of black for the TGIF Challenges Color Challenge.

I love the simplicity of the ink blended hearts.

I finished with Kristina Werner’s Happy Love Day dies (I used pink cardstock and then inked it with Picked Raspberry because it needed more pop) on top of vellum.

I used the rest of the panel for a second card inspired by the lines through the heart in the Love Actually movie poster for The Dream Factory Challenge. I paired it with solid pink for the solid portions.

I added a tiny Love Day stamped sentiment to this one together with the three little hearts from Kristina Werner’s You Are the Best stamp set.

and it’s also Love at the Inspired.Create.Challenges.
