Mid Century Modern Santa

The next prompt at Jingle Belles is Mid Century Modern Christmas – to make a card inspired by this lovely Mid Century Modern image from Edward George filled with lots of vintage Christmas ceramics.

I shopped through my stash for a vintage Santa and found this lovely one from Pretty Little Studio Jolly Santa die cuts that I thought looked like the one on mantle. I love the holly on his boots and the pretty little birdies.

I paired it with some grey-ish designer paper from 49 & Market Vintage Artistry Noel to pull in the feel of the fireplace. I also matted it on a grey card base.

I added a stitches sticker from Pretty Little Studio Christmas Cheer Christmas Stitches, then I used foam tape to add Santa and the stamped sentiment from Stampers Anonymous Tiny Text Christmas by Tim Holtz.

I’m also linking-up at the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge.

We can’t wait to see how the photo inspires your holiday cards.
