Sweet But Twisted

The next prompt at Jingle Belles is “Something Old… Something New … we’d like to see holiday cards on which you combine an item or two that you’ve had in your craft stash for a bit (or in my case quite a bit) together with something new that you received for the holidays… or shopped for yourself!

I started with my new item, which is the Hero Arts A Little Merri-Mint stamps & coordinating dies that Santa Stephanie gifted me for Christmas (I love how she always knows exactly what I want LOL). I stamped a candy cane facing each direction (I also love that the set has both) together with the snarky sentiment that made me giggle.

I found this older red Gelliarts print in my stash that has hints of red snowflakes peeking out from the silvery paint on the background and I die cut it using a long-neglected and never-used Nordic Frames Die from The Greetery.

I attached the stamped & die cut images using foam tape for dimension and finished with a few clusters of very adhesive white pearls from my stash.

And since I have both a New and Never-Used in this design (together with a cheeky sentiment), I’m linking-up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers N is for New or Never.

I’m also linking-up at the Inspire.Create. Something New Stamping Challenge.

Don’t wait over five years to use your new schtuff … break it out, and come join us.

I’m also linking-up at Just Add Ink Challenge with my Christmas Seasonal Candy Canes.
