For the long weekend, I was at one of my favorite places with some of my favorite people … it filled my cup.
We each brought a shirt, and several of the ladies designed & ironed on our design, so we could take a group photo.
Susan (the owner of Gather Guest House & Creative Retreat) joined us for one of the photos … we love her and the crafty space she has created so very much.
Each morning, I go for a run/walk around the beautiful community of Waunakee, which sort of eels like a second home. I know where my favorite tiny libraries are … where they are building a huge new school … where the trail is along Six Mile Creek.
I even saw a white squirrel, which reminded me of my favorite humans, my Great Aunt Mary (she lived in Marionville, Missouri the home of white squirrels).
I also got to visit The Shoe Box in Black Earth, Wisconsin (which is pretty much the equivalent of Disney World to me).
