Mandala Tea

It’s time for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (or in my case, a nice cup of tea).

I chose to pair Gina K. Designs Crescent Mandala Cover Plate with a cup of Tea from Gina K. Designs You Are So Loved.

I’m also linking-up at Gina K. Designs November Tag Team! #monthlymixchallenge, which is to make a card and tag using the same focal image and sentiments from the same stamp set.

The sentiments are from Gina K. Designs All Occasion Flowers stamped using Gina K. Designs Honey Mustard Ink on her Sweet Corn cardstock. For the card layout, I used this week’s Freshly Made Sketch.

I also took my inspiration from the current Paper Craft Crew Challenge Grateful, Thankful Blessed.

I trimmed down the Mandala to work with the sketch and added the tea cup and sentiment using foam tape for dimension.

For the tag, I left the Mandala inside the rectangle and positioned the sentiment to the right. I attached some stitched flannel ribbon using my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher (a much underutilized crafting tool).

I’m linking this up at the Simon Says Thinking Of You Challenge.
