Tiny Art Project

I once again participated in the Tiny Art Project hosted by our local Libraries and the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art, which is to make art using a 4 inch canvas.

I stopped by to see the Art Work on display at the main Downtown Library.

I used scraps from one of my own handmade papers together with die cuts and punches for my modern design. I accented it with some glittery dots and a sticker sentiment to finish.

If you’re looking for my piece, it is all the way to the left on the backward facing panel (hard to see unless you walk that way).

Here are a few of my other favorites. This amazing take on American Gorthic did not have a name/age of the artist.

It was fun to see a piece by my art friend Dori Patrick.

I loved these pieces which were made to lay flat on a table vs. hanging on the wall.

And this little library ghost was super-cute.

I also loved this vellum pocket filled with leaves.

The making joy with scraps for this wonderful cardinal was inspiring.

Make sure you take time to stop by the libraries to see the wonderful art displays.
