I needed a few more birthday cards, so this time I started by die cutting the Scrapbook.com Decorative Emboss & Die Cut Autumn Leaves from a piece of watercolor paper that I had painted with shimmer paints through a piece of dry wall tape.

After I die cut them, I brushed on some Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. I arranged them in a row using this week’s Sunday Stamps Sketch (using foam tape to add dimension.

I finished with a scattering of gems and a stamped sentiment from Gina K. Designs Essential Greetings.

I’m also linking-up at the Inspire.Create. Stamping Challenges Autumn/Fall Challenge.
And the leftovers from my die cut leaves was too pretty to recycle, so I turned it into another card for the Addicted to CAS Challenge of Leaves.

I attached another rusty GelliArts print behind the strip of painted paper and attached that to a natural cardstock base.

I added an AMuse Studio Sentiment.
The Make My Monday challenge is also an Autumnal Fall Challenge, so I’m linking-up there too..
