#abcprintingchallenge

The #abcprintingchallenge on Instagram with GelliArts has come to an end. I wanted to share a few of my favorite final prints.

S is for Stamp was the perfect opportunity to use some of my neglected FMD Foam 3 Circles & 4 Circles stamps.

Next up is T is for Tape. I used two different widths of washi tape with blue and purple paints to get this cool effect.

V is for Vegetable was the perfect opportunity to finally use my Corn Stencil from Gina Marie Designs. I used a sponge to apply the two colors of paint through the stencil. After it dried, I picked it up with light blue paint.

X was for XOXO. I attached the two chipboard letters to a clear block and stamped it repeatedly into the paint. I picked up the purple print with light blue, which allowed some of the darker purple paint to come through resulting in a deliciously grungy print.

Next was Y is for Yarn Resist. I wrapped some nubby yard around a scrap of cardboard and used it like a stamp on my paint covered plate.

And finally Z is for Zebra. I used Elizabeth St. Hilaire’s Elemental Beauty Stencil from Joggles. I put the stencil down onto black paint and used a bright pink clean-up print that just happened to be on the table to pick up the black paint through the stencil, so I could use white paint to pick-up what was left for my planned Zebra print. However, I ended-up liking the accidental pink zebra print even better than the traditional colors.

Thanks for coming along on this printing fun with me.
