A Very Cardstock Christmas

The newest prompt at Jingle Belles is Cardstock Christmas.  We're creating cards using only cardstock (no designer paper allowed).  You can tear it, ink it, stamp it, spray it, emboss it … but use only cardstock.

I tried a new-to-me Ink Smoosh Technique on white cardstock where you spray the paper rather than spraying the ink (from Kelly Santi).  I used Peeled Paint, Mowed Lawn and Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink.  I did two pieces of cardstock … the first didn't have enough color variation for me, so I ended-up using it for the stamped pieces.

I stamped the trees & sentiments from Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Clean Line Christmas on the ink smooshed cardstock.  I used the star die cut from the same set on brushed gold cardstock and finished with brushed gold embellishments.

I'm also linking-up at Simon Says: Anything Goes Challenge.

We can't wait to see the creative ways you used cardstock for your holiday cards.
