Today's card is a masculine birthday card built around this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch. I knew I wanted to use an image of a vintage card and a map, so those were the other two elements I stated with.
I cut out where the recipient lives on the map and used that for the bottom portion. I found a scrap of textured green cardstock that matched the areas of the state parks on the map and used that on top. Next I added strips of handmade paper before I attached my 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Sedan 8-cyl hard top with foam tape for dimension.
I finished with an Eyelet Outlet birthday cupcake brad, a Hero Arts Happy Birthday Wood Mounted sentiment and a sprinkling of bronze gems.
I'm also linking-up at the Seize the Birthday No Flowers Challenge.
And it's a Birthday Word Week at Just Us Girls.

Stephanie… this is a fabulous birthday card! You fit the sketch in such a clever way. Thanks so much for sharing with Just Us Girls!
Love this card. What a great masculine birthday card. It would be fabulous for a “muscle car guy”. How clever of you to use a part of a map to where the recipient lives to personalize the card. Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
