The August Challenge at Jaded Blossom is one of my favorite decades – the 1980's.
It was the perfect opportunity to break out some Ella & Viv 80's Party papers in my stash, which gave me the inspiration for my Jaded Blossom Music to My Ears Mix Tape.
I chose Neon Pink & Yellow from the background Mix Tapes, and then realize when I photographed my card, that I had managed to somehow cover up all of the Pink except for a tiny sliver on the left side.
I used alcohol ink markers to color my Mix Tape and then detail cut it, so I could position it on the Jaded Blossom Rounded Tag Die Cuts. I positioned my sentiments from the same Music to My Ears set on top of the tag.
I finished with some Pink stars to bring more of the pink back into the design.
I'm also joining the Double D Challenge to make a card that uses the word Happy (or in my case, Hap-py).j

So bright, cheerful and fun! Thanks so much for joining our Bee Happy challenge at Double D!

I absolutely LOVE this card! The bright colors really pop with the black. Love the cassette tape too! Thank you for playing along in our monthly challenge at Jaded Blossom. Hugs, Rosie
