Tree Skirt Tic-Tac-Toe

Today's prompt at Jingle Belles is a fun game of Tree Skirt Tic-Tac-Toe which is kind of like "Beach Blanket Bingo"… but Christmassy… and with a lot more embellishments!

We'd love for you to join us; all you have to do is pick a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) and create a lovely new holiday card featuring all three elements in that row. (Please note that you can, of course, use more than one animal, more than one ornament, etc etc.)

For my first card, I went vertical down the right side with Ribbon, Ornament and One Layer.

I started by stamping the large Dina Kowal Large Pixel Christmas Tree background image from Impression Obsession in green inks on natural ivory cardstock.

I used watercolor markers on the red berries and the brown pinecone.  For the ribbon element, I added tiny gold ribbon bows to two of the ornaments hanging on the tree.

The My Time to Craft Challenge is to use Fiber or Ribbon, so I'm linking-up there.

I'm also linking-up at the Christmas Challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More!

We can't wait to see how you win at the Tic-Tac-Toe game.

  1. The little bits of gold on the small ornament ribbons add shine to the pretty evergreen tree, red berries and pinecones! Great idea for how to use fiber for a Christmas card! Thanks for including MTTC in your link-ups! — Becca
