Today I'm sharing another Guest Designer card for the June challenge at A Blog Named Hero with Hero Arts.
We're still creating cards inspired by the lyrics of the Chicago song Saturday in the Park. As I was looking through the lyrics, I had to search to see what a "Slow Motion Rider" was … and one possible definition was a bicycle with balloons (another is a slow moving carriage). I went with the bicycle to inspire my card.
I started with a fun Hero Arts Floral & Balloon Bicycles Transfer on pale blue cardstock. Next, I cut grey cardstock for the ground.
Next I stamped several of the Hero Arts Party Fan images in pink ink on yellow cardstock and die cut them with the coordinating dies. To me they look like fireworks, so I used them for the Fourth of July theme in the song. I added more of the Bicycle Transfers to add the feel of fireworks exploding in the sky.
I finished with a sentiment from Hero Arts Art Journal Messages attached with foam tape for dimension.
It's been so much fun Guest Designing for Hero Arts this month … I sure would love for you to join me.
