This month's Monthly Mix Challenge at Gina K. Designs is to use paper piecing.
I paper pieced the lemons from Gina K. Designs More Fun Fruit by stamping them in black ink and clear embossing them on Gina's Amethyst Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets that I had foiled with Gold Foil. After I detail cut the images, I colored them using yellow alcohol ink markers.
Here's another angle that shows the foiled paper piecing a bit more clearly.
My card's inspiration came from this week's Inspired by … Lemons Challenge.
I used two of Gina's Embossing Folders – Lattice and Swiss Dot – to pull in the texture of the fabric elements of the inspiration photo.
I used Gina's Single Stitched Oval Die cut and leaves from her Botanical Duo Die cuts to pull it all together using this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch.

I just love all the embossing texture. Bright and zesty card 🙂 Thank you for joining the challenge at Atlantic Hearts.
Love your fruit!! Great card–such bright fun colors! Thanks for playing at AHS!
Oh I love all the textures of the embossing, it adds so much. I also love a good pun too! Thanks for playing along with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).
