Early Retirement Wishes

The newest challenge at Sketch~N~Scrap is to use one of four Throwback Sketches.

I chose May 20, 2019 for my card.  A co-worker is retiring early to go travel the US with us family (can you hear the tinge of envy in my voice).  I'm going to miss him a lot, so I wanted to make a special card to wish him well.

I started with a vintage page out of a throwback rate calculation handbook (we haven't used them in years, since all of those calculations are automated today), however I know he'll recognize what it is.

The focal sentiment is from Stampotique and the Whiskey bottle is a new stamp from Splash of Whiskey by Visible Image.  Then I used my GelliArts plate to create coordinating paper to back the sentiment.  I finished with a collection of stickers as the embellishments for the sketch.
