We're still celebrating Earth Day at Jingle Belles by making cards featuring recycled items.
Since my recipe worked so well last week, I decided to go with another variation on the same theme. Since Puffs Tissue puts their logo at the bottom (rather than in the center like last week's Kleenex Box), I was able to use a stitched circle to get the most of the lovely holiday floral pattern. I used two of the smaller circles to capture a few more of the lovely little white blooms.
I pulled out the golden yellow from the design by using a piece of K & Company packaging for my card base (they seriously had the best packaging). I die cut CZ Design's Merry & Bright from a scrap of GelliArts print that was so small it was destined for the recycle bin and I backed it with vellum, so the lovely pattern could show through. I had just enough leftover GelliArts print to die cut two snowflakes that I topped with Concord & 9th Enamel Dots.
We hope you'll come share your Earth Day Christmas cards with us at Jingle Belles.
