I'm always a bit sad when a month-long challenge ends, but this has certainly been a fun one.
The final week's theme is Self-Reflection.
Day 22 was to use colors that represent you. I used my favorite paint-covered stencils and a flower mask together with colors that made me smile. I printed until my hands were covered in paint and these were two of my favorites.
Here are those paint-covered hands.
Day 23 is Special Place – I printed a picture of childhood me at my Grandma AtKisson's house, a special place for me. However, I could not get the laser print transfer to work, so I finally went with this one where you can sort of see my little face and my striped pajamas in the middle if you squint your eyes.
Day 24 is Words – add a meaningful word. Just so happened these meaningful words from one of my favorite people Ellen Hutson arrived in the mail, so I die cut them and used them as a mask with Stazon Ink to print.
Day 25 is Repetition … I used three different circle stencils and just kept repeating.
Day 26 was to try something new. I tried spritzes of water combined with the paint. I didn't get the effect I was hoping for, but still liked the print.
Day 27 is Revisit – to Embellish a previous print. I decided to combine four prints and this week's Freshly Made Sketch. Then I embellished with a Peanuts Easter Sticker and some gems.
And for the final Day 28, making a print that makes me happy. Making art every day makes me happy, regardless of the outcome, but I love prints where you see the patterns of the stencils, but there are bits of leftover grunge.
