Think Ink

The newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash is Think Ink – we're asking you to use lots of ink, but NO COLORING … think sponging, smooshing, stenciling, brayering, splattering, gel printing.

I chose one of my favorite techniques.  I apply Distress Oxide to a stamping block, spritz some water, and then press the block into watercolor paper.  I used the three colors from this week's TGIF Color Challenge.

After the ink dried, I stamped the Concord & 9th Daisy Turnabout on top of the Distress Oxide Ink.

I added a sentiment & die from the set (these were stamps from the Concord & 9th Winter Retreat) with the background cut from a light green vellum.

I finished with opalescent gems in the center of my daisy.

We hop you'll get inky and come join us.
